Max Verstappen denied McLaren and Ferrari pole position for the Italian Grand Prix in one of the closest Qualifying sessions of the season.
The Red Bull driver sat top of the pile after the first set of runs at Monza and improved again with his second effort, his 1m 18.792s besting McLaren's Lando Norris by 0.077s.
Drivers' Championship leader Oscar Piastri finished third fastest from the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, with the latter being demoted five-places for a penalty carried over from last weekend.
