Charles Leclerc claimed a shock pole position for the Hungarian Grand Prix, beating the dominant McLarens of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris to the top spot.
With track temperatures dropping in the final part of Qualifying at the Hungaroring on Saturday, Leclerc stunned the paddock to set a 1m 15.372s with his final lap, enough to leave him 0.026s clear of Drivers' Championship leader Piastri.
Norris and Mercedes' George Russell completed the second row, as Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll made it an Aston Martin lock-out on row three, the top six separated by just over one-tenth.
Kick Sauber's Gabriel Bortoleto claimed an impressive seventh and will start alongside Max Verstappen, the Red Bull driver recording his worst Qualifying of the season.
